There is gender inequality in global wealth. Men earn more money. Men invest more money. Men save more money. Men run more companies. Yet women live longer and 50% of marriages end in divorce, so women will be alone at some point in their lives. 3 out of 4 elderly women live in poverty, but most weren’t poor when their men were alive. With the economy slowing down, it is more important than ever to become wealthy. Here are 10 reasons you need to become a rich woman.
1. Independence. Learning to create and control money will release you from dependence on any one person, or the government.
2. Self-esteem. If you learn how to be financially independent, you will grow in self-confidence and this will enhance your relationships at all levels. You can look after yourself and your family financially.
3. Protection of you and yours. In these times of economic doubt, protection of your home and your assets is critical. Creating wealth and understanding money will help protect what you have already.
4. Providing for your family. New ways of creating multiple streams of income can help you enhance life for all the family.
5. Live the life of your dreams. With the wealth you create, you can have that fantastic house, amazing new car and travel when you like. You can send the kids to the best college, and have that new wardrobe. You can live the life of your dreams.
6. Equality. Why should men make all the money? Women are good investors and money managers, as well as great entrepreneurs. We just have some catching up to do.
7. Giving. When you have money, you can give more away. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett gave more to charity than whole countries can earn. The richer you are, the more you can give.
8. Freedom and choice. If you are wealthy, you have the choice over what you do with your time, and your life. You have the freedom to work at what you want, to travel when you want, to spend what you want. You have choices that you do not have now.
9. For your future. There won’t be a government pension for most people, or it will be so little it will mean life on the poverty line. If you want to have a future worth looking forward to, you need to ensure you are financially secure.
10. Just to prove you can do it! Maybe you have always wanted to be rich, you just didn’t know how to do it. Challenge yourself. Find out how and take action!

Forex, the foreign exchange market, is the global market that trades currency and is largely influenced by the products and portfolios of a person or businesses country. Large financial institutions, businesses, and some individuals, earn millions each day by making careful decisions on what currency to buy or sell.
The foreign exchange market is similar to the stock markets that exist in many countries but instead involves one global market making it the largest market in the world. Forex speculation is necessary because the rate of currency never stays the same. The value of the United States dollar changes each minute in response to the current and foreign events. The same is true for currencies world wide making the entire market move quickly and requiring quick decisions that can make millions.
Many new foreign exchange traders have been attracted by the opportunity to make large amounts of money in a relatively short amount of time. What many do not realize, or chose to overlook, is that there is always the chance that an investor will lose a great deal of money because of bad investments. To avoid making bad choices in the foreign exchange market a great deal of Forex speculation is necessary. This speculation is used to help determine which currencies should be bought and which must be sold.
In the foreign exchange market the major currencies are the United States dollar, the British Pound, the Euro, the Japanese Yen, and the Swiss Franc. These are only a few of the currencies being traded on the global market but they are the ones most often traded. In the Forex market you decide which currency you wish to sell based on its current value and potential to make money while buying currency that you believe will later make you money. Since foreign currency trading is done 24 hours a day with time changes world wide causing overlaps that will eventually affect foreign currencies leading to Forex speculation.
While the Internet and home computer access has made it possible for anyone to enter the world of foreign exchange trading Forex speculation is not something that should be attempted by just anyone. Even with the many classes, courses, and seminars available through the Internet and in real life learning the art of Forex speculation takes time, practice, and experience. Well known foreign exchange brokers have been known to make a mistake from time to time and inexperienced individuals can find themselves in financial ruin if they are not careful.
If you are interested in Forex trading and have no experience in the foreign exchange market it is in your best interest to find an experienced Forex broker to handle your trades. Finding a broker that is experienced in Forex speculation can help make your venture a success. Keep in mind, the foreign exchange market is not a guaranteed way to make money. Research your potential broker and begin with cautious investments. Investing a great deal of money into the fast paced world of foreign currency exchange could lead to a great loss if one is not careful.

Once the bridal bouquet and ceremony flowers are chosen, it’s time to focus on what type of wedding reception flowers you may use. You’ll need to look at food tables, guest tables, the head table, as well as decorating accents throughout the room. However, you don’t need to use only flowers. There are a wide variety of choices of greenery that can also be put to good use.
First, you must understand where larger flower arrangements are appropriate… and where they are not. The more elaborate floral arrangements can be used on buffet tables, cake tables, on stands near the entrance and staircases, and close to the band or DJ. These types of arrangements, however, should not be used on guest tables or the head table as they are too large and will block the view of the guests.
Table centerpieces created from flowers should be kept low and small. Make sure they compliment the overall color scheme and theme of the wedding. Nor do all the table centerpieces have to be identical. A unique and interesting idea would be to use a variation in the types of flowers, yet with the same color scheme.
Small bud vases are best used on guest tables. A great combination wedding favor and table centerpiece idea would be to cluster small vases with a single flower in each. After the wedding, the guests can take home one of the bud vases as a wedding favor.
If you can not afford to use many large floral arrangements, choose 2 or 3 for the buffet tables or other key area and decorate the rest of the room using balloon bouquets, tree branches with twinkling lights or rented palm and/or ficus trees.
Edible bouquets are also very popular for table centerpieces. Spun sugar sculptures, fruit baskets and miniature tiered wedding cakes also serve a dual purpose as a table decoration and wedding favors… or as dessert at the end of the meal.
Here are a few more wedding “flower” bouquet ideas you may want to consider:
Wedding wishes cookie bouquets
Milk chocolate long Stem roses candy bouquets
Twinkle pop/lollipop bouquets
As you can see, you can incorporate many “floral” bouquet ideas into your wedding scheme without breaking the bank. Large floral arrangements are beautiful to look at, but they can also be very expensive. Consider some of the alternatives to help save money, yet still create unique flower arrangements that will delight your guests.

Forex trading, also known as currency trading, can be a very profitable activity. It is a very hot trend right now in making money from home, and for a good reason. Trading the Forex market has never been easier or more profitable. There are so many tools for beginner traders, so even the worst ones can succeed. However, to be really successful in this business, you need to start the right way, and that means making right choices.
The first choice every currency trader must make is about the broker. In order to trade in the Forex market you need a broker, but not just any broker. You need a reliable, honest Forex broker. Without that, you are doomed to failure. A bad broker will give you bad spreads, high commissions, or just bad service. Choosing a broker is an important step, and should not be taken lightly.
After choosing the right broker, you need to get the feeling of the market, but without the risk. This is where the demo account of the broker comes in handy. After you sign up with your broker, don’t start trading with real money right away. Ask your broker for a demo account with virtual money. This way you will be able to understand how the trading platform works, and you will be able to perform trades in the Forex market without risking your money.
When you can make trades with your eyes closed, it is a good time to choose yourself a Forex trading system. Such system is supposed to give you exact rules about entering and exiting trades the most profitable way. You can either make your own system or get a pre-made one. If you are a beginner, it is better to get a system made by someone else, a system proven to work. When you gain more experience, you may want to develop your own system.
The next to last step, after you have your system, is practicing it on the demo account and seeing if it works. Never trust a system blindly, always check what you receive. Practice trading according to the system, including all technical and mental aspects of trading like this. When you do a good job following the system and the system proves profitable for you, you can make a deposit and start trading real money, making real profits.

ETFs, otherwise known as “Exchange Traded Funds”, are a fast-growing segment of the Finance and Investment Market which are moving towards supplanting Mutual Funds as preferred means of fund investing.
You probably know most of the ways available to trade the markets… Stocks, Forex, Options, Futures & Commodities, … plenty of trading choices to consider.
But for over a decade now – since the early 90′s, there’s been a group of funds that are now growing rapidly as more investors and traders become aware of their profit potential – that is, ETFs.
In 1996 there were about $16 billion in ETFs… then just over a decade later that number has sky-rocketed to in excess of $600 billion!
An ETF is a fund comprised of a group of stocks, bonds, or other investment vehicles similar to a mutual fund. However, unlike a mutual fund, ETFs trade like stocks allowing a trader to buy and sell during normal exchange trading hours. Hence you can have immediate access to your funds upon selling an ETF position during normal market hours anytime you want.
Whilst ETFs can be generally more cost and tax efficient than mutual funds, a commission cost applies in the same way as it would have when trading stocks. There are no minimum buy requirements or holding period requirements common to many mutual funds. Likewise, you can buy as little as 1 share of an ETF as you would buy 1 share of a stock.
In simple terms, this means you can get the diversification that a fund has to offer and the ability to trade in and out of the fund. This is a big deal, because you can virtually eliminate stock specific risk by trading a basket of stocks within the fund so that if one stock in the fund suddenly drops in price, the negative impact on a position you may have in the fund would be far less than if you had owned a position in the shares of that particular stock.
There are many different types of funds available. In the United States alone there are currently now over 600 funds, with more being added on a daily basis. ETFs include stock sector, country, currency, commodity, bond or other investment objective related funds.
Further, there are funds that have only short positions and are sometimes referred to as “short” funds, or “short ETFs”, which will increase in price as the short positions they hold go down in price.
Some funds are leveraged funds, meaning that when the stocks in their funds go up by say 5%, the fund could go up by 10% and short funds whose stocks go down in price by say 5%, could go down 10%.
ETFs are also a growing investment vehicle in international stock markets as well. A prospectus on each ETF is available and information on the individual holdings of an ETF can be found on Yahoo Finance and other financial related websites.
However, not all ETFs are suitable for trading as many are thinly traded or too volatile to be considered good swing trading vehicles. ETFs in the U.S. are created and maintained by sponsor companies subject to the approval and regulation of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Success in any chosen field can only be gained by knowledge and practice. Knowledge is best gained from recognised experts in their field.

You may not be aware of how to file your taxes if you are an American citizen working and living abroad. You may not be aware that even if you are outside of the country, the IRS and the US government actually require that you file your taxes. Although it is a different method, it’s certainly a better option than not filing at all because it is quite easy and you can steer clear of severe IRS problems.
Numerous people assume that they have a free pass for not filing their taxes if they work overseas. They also believe that their taxes don’t need to be paid, either. This isn’t the case, however. The IRS expects everybody to file their tax returns to steer clear of considerable IRS issues, regardless if you live in a foreign country or in the US.
IRS Form 2555-EZ and the Foreign Earned Income form, or Form 2555, are two types of tax forms that citizens residing and working abroad are made to accomplish. To be able to fully qualify and be able to utilize either of these 2 forms, the taxpayer should be a citizen of the United States of America, or even a resident of the United States, but living in a foreign country.
You’ll need to file your tax return on April 15 of each year like everyone else. But a 2-month extension is automatically given for American citizens residing overseas. This would offer you more time to pay outstanding tax debts and file the right forms correctly. To utilize this 2-month extension, you will need to attach a statement to confirm that you qualify for it.
Among the problems that some people who have recently moved abroad is that they did not bring all of their tax information with them, or they moved before they could get all of their W-2 forms from their employers and they were actually sent to the old address in the United States. It is your responsibility to get those documents. Regardless if that takes asking a good friend or family member to find your mail, or asking your company to send a new copy to your new address, it needs to be done. Another option is to let your company send you electronic copies through email, while the official ones are being sent through regular physical mail systems. This will allow you to complete your tax returns in a timely manner and prevent an IRS problem.
You have a few choices in how to file your tax return if your spouse isn’t an American citizen. Filing as Married Filing Separately is one option. This means that you, as a taxpayer, would just report your own income that you have earned for that year. But if you also have children and you are the provider of more than half of each child’s support, then you can qualify under the status of Head of Household. Lastly, you can choose to declare your spouse as a resident alien as a third option. You would essentially be filing as Married Filing Jointly for tax reasons.
When filing taxes from another country, it’s advised to consult a tax preparer. This is the best way to avoid IRS issues, considering the various factors involved.

Both the LLC and corporation are legal entities that provide liability protection for their owners. While the corporation has been around longer, the limited liability company was created taxes offer the same level of protection. However, an LLC is designed specifically to cater toward the small business owner. It offers the same liability protection as a corporation but allows a much more simple operational structure with a lesser number of formalities.
LLC v. Corporation – TAX MATTERS
The limited liability company offers more tax choices than a corporation. Owners of an LLC can elect for profits to be taxed pursuant to a pass through structure (single layer of taxation) or pursuant to a C corporation (double taxation) or S corporation structure (single taxation but with many requirements and ongoing compliance requirements).
The corporation only has the choice of C corporation or S corporation taxation. Small business owners many tax mistakes prefer the LLC pass through taxation because it allows them to tax double taxation of profits and in many cases be able to take business losses to reduce taxes from other income WITHOUT having to worry about meeting a laundry list of S corporation requirements.
While the S corporation structure is available to both types of entities, it only allows a certain # of owners, all owners must be persons (so no entities) and US or permanent residents of the United States. There are other requirements as well so check with your accountant for the specific details.
As a business evolves, things change and with an S corporation tax status, you always need to be on top of the latest S corporation requirements. The failure to meet a requirement, even if accidental, can result in disastrous tax liability and penalties.
The S corporation can have some tax benefits over the standard pass through when it comes to self employment. In these cases, you have the option of S corporation taxation with either the LLC or corporation.
LLC v. Corporation – OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE COMPARISON
An LLC also gives an LLC business much more flexibility when it comes to ownership structure. The LLC laws allow for the company to tailor what each owner gets in terms of voting control and distributions.
The corporation has a set ownership structure. Ownership is defined by a share of stock and each share of stock provides a set right when it comes to voting and profits rights. The LLC can choose this standard structure but does have the flexibility to customize it if needed without having to create multiple classes of ownership.
Accordingly, an LLC is more attractive when it comes to bringing in investment capital or services partners because it offers more options to address specific business situations.
LLC v. Corporation – MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE
In addition, a limited liability company can have a very simple single layer of management (known as member-managed) or the management structure can be structured with a central governing body (manager managed).
When it comes to operations, the LLC is not required to meet the same level of formalities and paperwork as a corporation.
The corporation laws generally impose a set management structure for a corporation which requires a Board of Directors as a central body of management. In addition, in most states, there are required meetings and certain governance documents that must be entered into each year.
While it is still recommended that an LLC have some simple governance paperwork to document major business decisions, it is comforting to know that the laws do not require it for the legal entity to qualify as an LLC and get LLC benefits.
In deciding LLC or corporation, the LLC offers the same management structure imposed upon for a standard corporation but also allows for a much simpler one or a more complex one if needed to protect investors or the business.
SUMMARY
Given the simplicity and flexibility of the limited liability company, the LLC was designed to offer all the benefits of a corporation but without the disadvantages. As a result, the number of LLC formations each year greatly surpass incorporations when it comes to small businesses.
However, there are some situations where the corporation may be the better entity choice. If you plan on taking your business public with an initial public offering, you should use a corporation. Also, if your business requires professional company investors such as venture capitalists, the venture capitalists will generally require that your business be a corporation.
As noted above, the decision of LLC or corporation depends on your specific situation and the best person to advise you is a competent attorney after having met with you to discuss your particular circumstances.

In feng shui tradition, water is considered the lucky element that brings success and wealth because it keeps fish alive and partnership trees fruitful. Houses that have a pleasant view of gently flowing water such as a river, lake or sea, are believed to be in an extremely auspicious location. If a house is located near a raging torrent, however, feng shui gurus believe it can bring unnecessary havoc and financial loss to the occupants. On the other hand, if the water is too stagnant or polluted, it tends to bring health problems to those who reside close to it.
Although natural sources of water are supposedly the most auspicious feng shui tax that enhances wealth, it does not mean you cannot benefit from water if your house is situated far away from all the lakes or rivers. A fountain, fish pond, aquarium or swimming pool can bring financial success and good luck to you as well. From a feng shui perspective, these artificial sources of water can be as beneficial as the natural ones if they are properly built and taken care of.
Fountain – A fountain, in feng shui belief, creates an abundance of positive chi or life force that keeps you energetic and motivated, and encourages wealth to flow into your life. It should be located in your front garden and visible from your front door. Ideally, it should stand at least thirty feet away from your front door. Never let it get dried up. Try to remember to turn it on everyday. A dried up fountain symbolizes wealth being drained away and can make you become unmotivated and idle.
Fish Pond and Aquarium – Fish ponds and aquariums can be found in many houses in China and Hong Kong, as they are supposed to bring wealth and career success. The fish, from a feng shui perspective, symbolize progress and great fortune. Imagine the fish swimming upstream and crossing over waterfalls in order to reach the breeding grounds. That’s why fish have been a motivational symbol of success in feng shui. You don’t need to have a large pond or aquarium, but it should be aesthetically pleasant. You can have any kinds of fish, though the famous choices are gold fish and carp. Ideally, there should be nine fish in your pond or aquarium: eight gold fish and one black fish. The reason for this is that number eight and the color gold symbolize money, while black stands for safety and protection.
Swimming Pool – A swimming pool should not be too large, especially if you have a small house. Feng shui masters believe that too much water can make the five elements of your place become unbalanced. Neither should it be located behind the house. A swimming pool at the back of a house, from a feng shui perspective, can bring danger and great misfortune. Oval and round partnership are considered more auspicious than square and rectangular ones, as the round shape is related to coins or in other words, money. A kidney-shaped swimming pool can also be propitious when it embraces the house, but not when it curves the opposite way.
Om Paramapoonya has an insightful knowledge of feng shui, though she does not want to call herself a feng shui master quite yet because there is a lot more to learn. Growing up in an Asian family, feng shui has been an important part of her lifestyle, not just something she is interested in and decided to study. She has also written quite a few feng shui articles on Hubpages. You can find them at http://hubpages.com/hub/bedroom_feng_shui and http://hubpages.com/hub/feng-shui-apartment

Though a relative “new kid on the block,” PC World is nonetheless the flagship publication of the International Data Group. First launched in 1982, the first issue came out in March of 1983. Most staff of PC World came from PC Magazine. Today, PC World contains many reviews of different hardware, software and services related to the computer market. It is currently published in 51 countries under different titles locally. As of 2006, it has become the computer magazine with the largest circulation in the world.
Popular Mechanics
Popular Mechanics has been devoted to highlighting trends in science and technology in the mainstream media since its inception on January 11, 1902. In the 1950s, the Hearst Corporation took the publication over, whereby it became one of the more prominent publications in the group, along with other mainstream publications like Good Housekeeping. Today, Hearst Corporate Communication remains one of the leading magazine publishers in the US.
Time Magazine
Despite a recent drop in revenue as of 2007, Time magazine remains the largest magazine in annual revenue among magazines. Its writing style remains stellar because it can address weekly, timely issues on a range of topics, both political and serious, and include light and popular fare as well. Signature articles in the magazine include Time 100, which features the 100 most influential people of the year, and the Time Person of the Year. As of late 2007, it has tried to revise so that it can continue to serve by reaching a younger generation of people.
Even though recent advances in communication and technology such as the Internet have made information far more available and digitally enhanced, magazine publishing still continues to be a mainstay in the American media. Its revenue growth in 2007 was still 1.5% even with more technologically advanced media choices.
