The legendary Indian spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) once said: “The earth has enough for the needs of all but not the greed of a few.” His words have since proved to be quite prophetic!
The world today is in chaos and by that I’m not merely referring to the tumult taking place in the Middle East; what I’m talking about is the imminent extinction of hundreds of millions of people as a result of global warming. In both scenarios the United States plays a central role!
I have already pretty much detailed out how and why global warming is happening and which nations are most responsible for its acceleration, as well as who’s doing what and who is not to rectify the situation in my article entitled: Global Warming–How It Could Spark World War III.
That said, I’ve included a list of figures below to illustrate to what extent each nation/region is responsible for greenhouse gas pollution in the atmosphere (greenhouse gases are widely held to be the engine behind the accelerated global warming seen today):
USA: 30.3%
Europe: 27.7%
Russia: 13.7%
South East Asia: 12.2%
South/Central America: 3.8%
Japan: 3.7%
Middle East: 2.6%
Africa: 2.5%
Australia: 1.1%
The Truth Behind The Lie
To many in marketing circles the concept of manipulation of social evidence is nothing new. Basically what it entails is manipulating tools of evidence to further one’s goals.
Thus for example, until fairly recently in internet marketing circles, the practice of manufacturing bogus testimonials was fairly widespread. The objective being to convince visitors to one’s website to purchase products on the strength of those manufactured testimonials.
In the arena of global warming much the same has been happening. In the same manner that a defense counsel in a court case will produce its own expert witness to discredit that of the prosecution (or vice versa) so has the Bush II administration paraded a string of bogus experts to decry global warming as just a myth!
In 2007 a good number of environmental scientists and climatologists publicly stated that they’d been pressurized by various Bush II factions to manipulate data to downplay the seriousness of global warming!
Which simply begs the question: why is the Bush II administration going to such lengths to hide the truth about global warming?
Snatch ‘n’ Grab Operation Gone Awry
It is now widely accepted that the invasion of Iraq had little to do with terrorism, less to do with democracy but everything to do with oil! The question still remains however, why did the US go to such lengths (which included manufacturing evidence) to illegally invade a sovereign state under what at best can be described as a thinly disguised pretext for war?
Was it merely a question of the then single remaining superpower claiming its right to wield that might as it saw fit irrespective of international law, just as Nazi Germany once did?
Or was it a case of a few vain men hoping to claim their slice of immortality through a legacy festooned with the glory of having secured new oil reserves for a nation with a quenchless thirst for the stuff?
Or perhaps the U.S. oil reserves were so desperately low that Bush II and his New World Order buddies were prepared to force a snatch and grab operation that could easily have escalated into third world war, so as to shore up those dwindled oil reserves?
Or maybe, just maybe, the U.S. desperately needed to stockpile a vast amount of oil for something far, far more sinister.
To keep at bay a monster it helped so much to create!
Threads Weaving A Disturbing Tapestry Of Events
These days more often than not fact is stranger than fiction. When we look at the Bush II Administration’s policy on global warming it is beyond perplexing why they have gone to such lengths to deny its existence.
For sure, his Have-More buddies in oil and other environmental-damaging industries have plenty to gain by muddying the waters, but what if there’s really more to this repudiation of global warming than that!
What if this is a carefully concocted plot that has been kept under wraps for years?
Here’s what we know thus far about global warming. The data has been around for well over a decade and has been readily available to government officials. Since the turn of the 21st century scientists across the globe have been warning of the extent of global warming; warnings that apparently fell on deaf ears! (Well at least as far as the Bush II administration was concerned.)
But supposing this was not actually the case.
What if the Bush II administration did listen, but only to those scientists who’d concluded that the world had reached the point of no return? And that global warming could not be reversed anytime in the foreseeable future and thus by proxy neither could its ensuing effects!
Fuelling Up For A Global Catastrophe
In other words there was no point implementing measures to curb greenhouse gas emissions (thereby slowing down global warming) and that in fact the best policy was to forge powerfully ahead and ensure that America was readied for the ensuing catastrophe no matter the cost!
If it meant manufacturing a war, so be it! If it meant causing the deaths of hundreds of millions of people to achieve that aim, so be it! After all this wouldn’t be the first time in history that the few had been sacrificed for the many! Oh! Except in this case it is the many sacrificing for the few, or more specifically, The Have-Mores!
When looked at from this perspective, that the U.S. is fuelling up for a long term global catastrophe, it all begins to make some sense! Especially considering that Saudi Arabia still has the greatest oil reserves in the world and has never said no to U.S. oil demands!
Bottom line, it is quite conceivable that the U.S. under Bush II has been insuring against (or at least trying to) a global catastrophe predominantly of its own making! But alas even the best laid plans go badly awry. Iraq didn’t turn out to be the pushover they’d expected and the oil is not gushing the way they had envisioned.
Think that such a scenario is way over the top? Think again! Remember Iraq? Remember Hurricane Katrina?
The way the Bush II government handled Katrina was so shameful that Google for some reason best known to it was compelled to replace post-Hurricane Katrina satellite imagery with pre-hurricane images on its map portal (Damage control? Trying to hide America’s shame from the rest of the world? At whose behest one wonders?).
As you can well imagine, when it came to light, the whole sordid affair was an extreme embarrassment to Google (And certainly not good for business! The search engine business thrives on the premise that results are accurate and impartial and not manipulated!).
But the point I wish to emphasize here is that if the Bush II government could shun its very own citizens (albeit mainly citizens of color) in such a cavalier fashion why would they give a damn if their actions resulted in the deaths of hundreds of millions of Africans or peoples from other parts of the globe who are going to be worst hit by global warming?
In World War II the Nazi’s genocide weapon-of-choice was hydrogen cyanide gas, what irony that in the upcoming global warming related genocide, gas too is the weapon of choice; carbon dioxide gas!
Stop Global Warming

Promoting affiliate programs can undoubtedly produce great financial returns, but unfortunately most people never see these kinds of returns because they never figure out how to effectively promote their affiliate programs. Well this article will hopefully solve this problem as listed below are ten of the best methods you can use to start earning regular affiliate commissions.
1. Forums
Forums are one the most effective ways of marketing your affiliate programs if done correctly. By posting in relevant forums that allow sig files (where you can link to your own affiliate site, or directly to the product you are promoting if this is allowed) you can reach a targeted audience quickly and easily. As long as you post constructive comments, then you should see plenty of people clicking on your sig files to learn more about you, and the products you are promoting.
2. Articles
Writing articles is another cost-effective way of reaching your targeted market. By writing quality articles (that contain your resource box where you can link to your affiliate site) and submitting them to the various article directories, you can gain enormous exposure for your offers. A few people will come across your article in the article directories themselves, but it’s when website owners and ezine publishers pick up your article that you can really reach a massive target audience.
3. Press Releases
Press releases are similar to articles in that they provide a quick and easy way of reaching a large target audience. They can best be used when you have something newsworthy to say about either your own site or the actual products you are promoting. All you do is write the press release (in a journalistic style) and submit it to one of the larger online (or offline) press agencies.
4. Search Engine Optimization
This is probably the optimal form of promotion, but it’s also the most time-consuming, and it can take many months before you start to see any results. Nevertheless, if you can take time to optimize your website, and gain a lot of backlinks to your site using relevant keywords (including long-tail buying keywords) as the anchor text, you can receive a lot of traffic to your website when you start to obtain high search engine rankings.
5. Pay Per Click Advertising
This is a highly effective way of promoting your affiliate programs, either directly, or by using your own website to pre-sell the visitor. Pay per click advertising gives you the ability to advertise on the first few pages of results of the search engines for the exact keywords that you choose, so it’s no wonder that so many affiliates swear by this form of advertising. The main thing to remember is that you have to keep testing as much as possible and make sure you don’t spend too much per click on any of your keywords, so you maintain a positive return on your investment.
6. Advertising On Other Websites
You can buy advertising space or text links from numerous websites in all types of niches, so there’s plenty of opportunity to advertise your offers on other websites. The only downside is that it can be tricky finding websites that will give you a positive return on your investment, but if you can do this then there’s definitely good profits to be made.
7. Free Reports And Ebooks
Writing free reports and ebooks provide an excellent opportunity to access your target market, particularly if you add a viral aspect to them. All you do is write your own content, based around the product you are promoting, and include your affiliate links within this content. If your information is of a high quality, you can get massive exposure for your affiliate links as people pass it on to other people, and share it with their list of subscribers if they have one.
8. Blogs
Promotional blogs are a modern and extremely effective way of promoting your affiliate programs. Because they often contain fresh content on an ongoing basis, they are loved by the major search engines, and can therefore attract high levels of traffic.
9. Email Marketing
Advertising in relevant ezines has traditionally been a good way of promoting affiliate programs. Although not as effective as it once was due to strict spam filters, a well-written solo ad or an attention-grabbing classified ad in a targeted high readership ezine can still get great results. For best results, however, you should aim to build your own list of subscribers so you can send out your emails whenever you want, and can actually build a relationship with your list, which will increase your affiliate sales.
10. Offline Advertising
This is the final of form of advertising I want to discuss. Most online marketers ignore offline advertising completely, but there’s no doubt that offline advertising still works, and can even outperform online advertising in some cases. Business cards, flyers, magazine and newspaper advertising are just some of the ways you can effectively promote products offline.

A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!
A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an “oversight” partnership the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.
And no, nothing about his “secret” is illegal – nor does it require that you know someone on the “inside” at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.
Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly “…this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first … but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it.”
This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children’s toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses – all the while applying his mastermind secret.
Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses “I’ve actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for … and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines … all of which I got for free …”
So powerful is his secret that he’s able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.
He still has to set up an account with the search engines – but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved.
Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines.
One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret “Wow! Ha! This is really unique … and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at partnership of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!”
The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years’ period of time since applying his secret he’s done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really “buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential.”
Now to everyone else’s fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he’s not promising any of us for how long.
A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says “We’ll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things.”
One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret “he’s already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it’s still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this.” It is currently available at http://www.get-google-ads-for-free.com …so you may want to head on over there now and get it.
It’s in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level.
While you’re there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?

Video has been gaining popularity in all aspects of marketing, almost all of the successful marketers online are using video in some form or another. It is being used in many different ways and the possibilities are ever expanding in any type of business. Whether you are selling shoes, dog food, dream vacations, or even a car, videos are being used to market most if not all of these products. We as a society have become used to or expecting to see something visual to relate to. The concept of using videos in any type of marketing has become a necessity in order to sell goods or service.
Video marketing is now being introduced and used instead of the more conventional sales letter. The whole concept of a video sales letter can be incorporated rather easily. From the opening statement, calls to action, features and benefits, to a strong closing statement, hard sale and scarcity tactics can all be used with greater and more effective ease using the power of video marketing. It seems as if a whole new type of marketing has started, and is beginning to take the place of conventional sales letters. This type of selling can take much less time and resources to develop than writing a lengthy sales letter or even paying some copy writer thousands of dollars to write a killer sales letter for you.
Another form of video marketing is being used to provide quality free content for subscribers. Video just seems to get stronger as more and more new product launches come out involving video as their prime mode of selling and promoting new products. Building anticipation by showing a new video each day for two or even three weeks prior to a new product being introduced. Video has really become the focal point to a new era of marketing online.
The viral effect of videos can have a phenomenal effect in creating new customers. As other marketers promote a new idea that is soon to be released, it provides content for their customers and all marketers involved profit by just suggesting to check out a simple video.
It is becoming more evident each and every day that if you are not using some type of video in your marketing efforts you are leaving money on the table and your marketing efforts are in the stone ages. With YouTube, Google Video, and all the other video submission sites, the possibilities are endless. With millions of visitors each and every day to each of these sites marketing online has become the “Video Marketing Age”.

So you’ve been to Clickbank and browsed around. You’ve seen the pitch or sales pages for a number of products. In this article we will take a little more in depth analysis of what goes into creating a powerful pitch page for a Clickbank sales page and give you some tips on how to create one yourself.
The first thing you notice is that every pitch page for a Clickbank product is one single page. There are no sites with links to other pages featuring other products by the publisher. The reason for this is simple. To understand that reason one must realize that there are two ways a visitor might make it to a Clickbank sales page. First, they may have done a search for a product on-line and found the site in the organic listings on YaHoo!, MSN, Google or some other search engine. Let’s call these people “fresh visitors.”
There are also visitors coming to Clickbank sales pages who clicked on a link from an affiliate for that product and that click resulted in them being taken to the Clickbank site. In such a case the visitor clicked on what is called a “hoplink” to the sales page. The affiliate created that hoplink which Clickbank will monitor and place a cookie on the visitor’s computer when they reach the pitch page. If the visitor ends up buying the product on that page, Clickbank will read the cookie and award the affiliate his or her commission for referring the customer to the sales page in question.
If a publisher were to sell more than one product from their Clickbank site, it would interfere with Clickbank’s tracking and make it nearly impossible for Clickbank to award commissions to affiliates properly. THis is why all Clickbank sales pages are only one page long and never promote more than one product.
Now, what about the content of the page? Most Clickbank pitch pages start with either an attention getting header graphic, or a big bold heading in 18 or 24 point text. Often Tahoma or Impact fonts are used, but sometimes something like Times or Times Roman are used. The headline needs to grab the reader’s attention. You only have a few seconds to pull the visitor in to want more information.
Some Clickbank publishers will tell exactly what their product is all about in the headline, others will create a sub-header to do that task–but however it’s done, the reader must become locked into the site within the first 10 seconds.
About one-third of the way through the pitch page most of the power seller’s pitch page will begin with a, “From The Desk Of…” message to the reader. The purpose of this is to establish a relationship with the reader. This part of the page is more personal–they try to make it sound as if they were right across the table talking to you. This is important, the seller must infer some degree of trust to the reader before they can ask for credit card information.
Virtually every Clickbank ebook seller will also have an opt-in form on their pitch page as well. Some use static, in-line forms–but most use a pop-up or “hover-over” type form. Collecting name and email info is a top priority because the publishers will work their lists aggressively to harvest more sales.
And one more key feature: The vast majority of power sellers will have some kind of exit-capture strategy for visitors clicking to leave their site without ordering. The two most common exit-capture systems are provided by IntelliChat and VirtualSmartAgent. You’ve see this used. You go to click to leave the site and a pop-up appears with a chat box and a virtual sales agent. The agent will offer you a $10 or $20 discount you order through them. These companies collect a commission on every sale they capture through this technology. Before you purchase any Clickbank product, I would recommend closing the pitch page to see if you are offered a discount rather than ordering directly. You can often save a few bucks.
My last ket point involves the testimonials. Here’s a little secret: A great number of testimonials on Clickbank pitch pages come from affiliates who are promoting the product on which their testimonial appears. I’m not suggesting this is wrong, but you should know that many of these are not testimonials from the average “Joe on the street.” There are a handful of affiliates who have their testimonials appear on dozens and dozens of Clickbank sales pages.
This is partially because they are affiliates for these products, and also because the big guys always include the URL for the web site of the person giving the testimonial. This is sort of a “pay-back” for the comment as some visitors will then click on the affiliate’s web site.

Anyone that uses Google, (the qualifier for this is the fact you are human) will have noticed that beneath that iconic search bar is a new link, directing you to Google Chrome, a Google web browser that as with all things Google, comes with a hype that could perhaps be hugely unmerited.
Before we get to the ins and outs of its functionality, appearance etc, let’s just take a look at the history of the web browser, and why Google would take this route.
The web browser was really born in the late 1980′s, when a variety of technologies, most famous of course the WorldWideWeb, laid the foundation for the first web browser, which brought together a variety of existing and new software and hardware technologies. Web browsers communicate with Web servers primarily using HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol) to fetch webpages, which are located by means of a URL (Uniform Resource Locator). In simple terms, they interpret the information that webmasters want you to see, and present it to you in the form of a webpage.
Historically, Microsofts’ Internet Explorer has dominated the market, and currently still holds approximately 75% market share, Mozillas’ Firefox pulls an impressive 20%, and the rest divided between the likes of Safari, K-Meleon, Flock, Konqueror, and Opera.
The market is packed with perfectly capable alternatives…ok, perhaps perfect capable is stretching their achievements, but there are many variations out there that offer you slightly different takes on the idea, and personally Firefox is my browser of choice, but thats largely due to the fact it is not IE.
So why a browser? Well, Google have a suite of Applications, Programs and Indentures (API’s), most notably Google Maps, Android, Google Earth, and Gears, in addition of course to their search services. Could Google be aiming to unify their API’s with Chrome? This is an opinion I’ve seen and heard touted about the internet, but I feel there is a far bigger picture here.
Google Chrome may appear to have its teeth cut for a battle with Internet Explorer, but the Microsoft product that Google is ultimately setting its itself up to destroy is the Windows operating system. In reality, the search titan hopes that its browser, in the short term, will simply make it easier for businesses to deploy their online applications.
Anyway, that’s one for the future, right now we have the issue of where Google Chrome fits in to the current landscape, and my suggestion is that we tuck it discreetly behind a bush and forget about it for the foreseeable future. With it being Google, that may prove to be more difficult than it should be, but in the core elements of its functionality it offers nothing new, nothing exciting, and certainly nothing to challenge Firefox for my attention.
Google’s first major publicity of Chrome came in the form of a 38-page comic that resembled the in-flight instructions of a plane more than it did the release of a major weapon in Google’s considerable armoury. Suffice to say Marvel will sleep easy. The sedate nature of its release suggests Google really aren’t all that bothered about the success of this project, at least not in the near future, and were really just hoping for a little bit of the limelight following Yahoo’s protracted kissing and cuddling with Microsoft before their acrimonious fall-out and subsequent fisticuffs and chest-pumping. Google love a headline, if they were a film star they’d surely become Scientologists and marry some failed actress from Dawsons Creek, but where they normally maneuver that attention well, here I feel they fail on the basic principle of the product letting them down.
They have introduced something called an Omnibox, which is just the search bar wearing a tutu, and fails miserably as a nonpartisan addition to the browser. People have the option with most other browsers of selecting home page etc, but this bar doubles as a search engine on … you’ve guessed it, Google. The merging of the address bar and search bar gives Google too much control over navigation. It separates companies and website operators from their website addresses and brands. Companies spend heavily to establish and maintain brands. Google has just imposed itself between consumers and businesses. Direct navigation has now become proprietary search, whereby Google uses its discretion to filter out web addresses and domains that it deems less relevant. I object heavily to this and see it as no less than bullying, so for this alone I have boycotted the browser, but more poignantly, they have thus far failed to release a Beta version for the Mac. As a Mac user i find this rather insulting, and as an opponent of Microsoft and every filthy moral they stand for I am infuriated.
I shall leave it at this: as a writer/consumer this story is fun, it sometimes even shakes hands with endearment, but as an employee of a web development company, and having test-driven it on a PC, I am more excited by the recession thats’ somewhat fallaciously drowning the spirit of a perpetually melancholic UK. Chrome will not affect things for my employers within the next 3 years at least, and I predict that it probably never will.

Dental web sites and dental web marketing are becoming more necessary now than ever before for a successful dental practice. The truth is, with high gas, expensive groceries, and a slumped economy, there are fewer people seeking dental services. This means you need to take every opportunity you can to expose your practice to new patient. People moving away, passing on, and going to other practices can quickly empty daily schedules. Many dentists overlook the power of the internet because they believe one of these three myths.
1. Only Attracts People Out Of The Target Range
Many dentists make the mistake of thinking that dental web marketing only attracts young kids or people outside of their local area. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. The fact of the matter is that middle aged people and the elderly are two of the main groups using the Internet. These groups are the ones spending the most money on their dental care. This translates into big bucks for the dentist who takes the opportunity.
In terms of location, dental web sites are designed specifically with the professional’s location in mind. The web site will still attract people from outside of the local area, but those finding the web site within the target distance will far outnumber them. Keywords are used throughout the online marketing process to emphasize the region where services are provided and to put you at the top of search engine results for your region.
2. Too Expensive
Twenty years ago when there was no such thing as the World Wide Web, billions of dollars were spent by dentists every year on phone book ads, brochures, advertisements in malls, and other target rich areas. Today, that target rich area has moved online and the thousands of dollars dental professionals spend on paper marketing isn’t giving them the ROI they need to stay afloat. With more and more people searching online for their needs, dental web marketing is becoming more and more valuable every day.
If dentists and other oral care professionals choose wisely, they can have premium dental web sites with a flawless marketing plan for a dollar figure similar to what they have been using on traditional advertising. When you consider that even if their online marketing only brings in 30 new patients, it translates into $50 000 or more, depending on how many patients the new customers refer. This ROI can easily surpass that of traditional methods.
3. Does Nothing To Strengthen Communication With Current Patients
One of the biggest mistake oral care professionals can make with their practice is thinking that dental web marketing does nothing for their current patients. One of the biggest reasons patients move on to another practice is because of a lack of communication. Newsletters and keeping dental web sites updated with valuable information can make a significant difference. This can include promoting a new service, highlighting an existing one, or advertising specials that may be going on in the office. These things promote the practice and services while maintaining a close connection with patients. Web sites have also become a valuable tool for patients to cancel and set appointments as well as provide access to after care information and overviews of particular procedures. As an added benefit, having a newsletter delivered to inboxes also increases the chance of having them forwarded to other potential clients.
Oral care practices need to move online and use dental web sites and dental web marketing to their fullest advantage in order to grow their practices to successful levels. By not allowing these three myths to hold them back, new customers and referrals will be pouring in.
