It seems like all you hear about these days is how people are going crazy over these forex robots that have become so en vogue. But do they actually work? Think about it! In all this time that you’ve read about them in forums, chat rooms, etc….. have you ever know anybody who had success with them trading in a real (not demo) account? My guess is you haven’t.
Have you ever noticed that the ones you do hear about having success in the demo accounts, the moment they are traded on a real account with real money, the account crashes. Funny how that works, huh?
The fact is that I, not only wouldn’t trust the robot to trade for me, but I wouldn’t trust the broker I am using the forex robot on. Forex brokers (all brokers for that matter) are renowned for their questionable trading policies (e.g. hunting for stop losses), so you could imagine all the questionable tactics they could use on trading robot, which is something you have no control over.
Also, the fact that some automated system can tell you where the market is going to go is absurd. The market is too complicated for a machine to follow blindly based on the parameters of the developer. You think a forex robot has any idea what to do if the Fed comes out and lowers interest rates by half of a point instead of a quarter of a point. It would have no idea. This is something that they just cannot simulate.
John Templeton has been a successful forex trader after learning how to trade price action. Once he understood that all he needed to trade forex was on a plain chart with no indicators, his profits soared. You too could learn how to trade.

The fastest way to achieved financial freedom is to create a second stream of income that generates money for you automatically. If you can create this kind of second income, you are able to leave your 9 to 5 and create multiple stream of income, and then you are well on your way to achieved financial freedom. In this article, we focus on in creating a steady and consistent second stream of income with the use of an automated forex trading systems.
An automated forex trading system is a system that automatically generates consistent profitable trades for you. In other words, you spend a few minutes setting it up, and spend the rest of the day creating or accumulating more assets for you goal in reaching financial freedom.
There are many automated forex trading systems out there, and it is up to you to find one that makes consistent profit. While an automated forex trading system is fairly cheap, most systems out there is inconsistent and most likely a scam.
To filter out the bad ones from the good ones, we need to take advantage of their money back guarantee. Most good systems offers up to 60 day money back guarantee policy. And most of the system can be used on a demo account (fake money) to test if it makes consistent profit. What you can do is, get a system that you are interested in, use it on a demo account and see if it makes considerable amount of money before the 60 days money back guarantee are up. Worst case scenario is it does not make you thousands of dollars; you simply return it and get your money back. Best case scenario is it makes you thousands of dollars with little to no work in your part. The plan is foolproof.
In fact there are many people are currently sitting at home with their family, and enjoying their life like it should, without any worries of going back to their 9 to 5 routine. The one thing these people have in common is, they made a wise choice and more importantly took action to reach their financial goal. What about you?

Organic foods have become more and more popular over the past couple decades. Even though its usually significantly more expensive, people still fork out the money. I’ve always assumed that most people do it for the health benefits. But lately there has been a growing market for clothing made from organically grown cotton. Obviously people aren’t buying these clothes for their health, unless they misunderstood what a ‘high-fiber diet’ means.
Organic Cotton: Good for the Earth
So, obviously the implications of organically grown cotton isn’t geared towards the body as much as it is geared towards the Earth. Organically grown cotton essentially refers to the way the cotton is grown and manufactured. Eco-friendly farmers try to find ways to limit the kinds of harmful chemicals that are put into the ground. Once those chemicals mix in with the soil, it effects future vegetation and animal life for years and years to come. The chemicals also find their way down into the water table (our natural fresh water supply deep down under the soil).
Substituting Chemicals with Brains
Instead of the lazy mainstream farming model where chemicals are used to maximize on profits, organic farmers substitute chemicals with innovation. Instead of using synthetic fertilizers which over time can throw off the soil’s PH and cause other problems for animals, organic farmers are using natural composting. Instead of pesticides which can throw off the food chain and effect larger animals, organic farmers are introducing beneficial insects and predators, and also using insect traps to pin-point a very small area for insect control. Instead of using harmful herbicides, organic farmers are coming up with innovative weeding techniques.
Market Driven Activism
The old model of standing on the street with signs just isn’t enough. The smart way to help people become aware of organic cotton is the capitalistic model. Many smart companies are jumping on the coat tails of the Earth-friendly trend. The more we support these farmers by spending money on organically grown cotton, the lower the prices will get and the smaller the human foot print will be on the Earth.

Learning to use a forex chart will greatly improve your ability to become a profitable forex online trader. As with stock exchange investing there are several popular chart types used to visually analyse trading data. Some of the forex chart types include bar charts, candlestick charts and point and figure charts.
The forex chart can be very useful when looking to analyze markets when using technical analysis. The technical style of trading ignores fundamental factors and is only used with the price action of a market. This can be good to also remove the emotional effect trading has on your mental state.
With a forex chart you are able to see the movement of the market in a visual format. In addition to the standard chart you can add indicators or oscillators to help you make decisions about when to get in or out of your currency trades.
In case you do not know what an indicator is, it is a series of data points used to help predict movements in currencies. Some of the more popular indicators used on forex charts are moving averages, waves and bollinger bands.
Bar Charts – are quite often used in security market technical analysis. Bar charts are quite easy to construct making them quite popular. The charts are constructed by showing intra-day, daily, weekly or monthly movement as a vertical bar. Opening and closing prices are shown by horizontal marks to the left and right of the vertical bar respectively.
Candlestick Charts – were the secret weapon of the Japanese traders until Steven Nison of Merrill Lynch made the use of this chart popular in western markets. The candlestick chart is credited to Munehisa Homma, a Japanese rice trader in the early 18th century.
The candlestick is the graphic representation of the price bar: the open, high, low, and closing price of the period. The candlestick has become a widely used tool in online currency trading.
When you use the candlestick in your forex chart there are many patterns that you can learn to identify to help with your technical analysis. There are 12 you really should learn. Some of them include morning star, evening star, shooting star.
When using forex charts you should be using live data feeds. This means the data you are seeing in your forex charts is based on actual currency rates at the time you are viewing the chart.
To get your data and software for your forex charts you have free options and paid options. Quite often after selecting your forex broker you will receive some for of forex charting through their trading platform.
With the paid options you normally would pay for a data feed to construct your forex charts. This is typically a monthly subscription. You are quite often able to receive a free trial before committing to a subscription.
I currently use FXCM Trading Station and it comes with a built in forex chart. You can ask your broker what they recommend if you are wanting more advanced forex charting options.
If you are considering getting into the forex market and trading currencies I strongly recommend learning what you can about using a forex chart to help with your trading.
If you find this all too difficult you may instead wish to use a Forex signal service however this comes at a cost. It is always best to rely on your forex chart knowledge.

Tax reduction and tax deferral are the primary benefits of obtaining a cost segregation study. Income taxes are a substantial burden for most real estate investors. Tax deductions help with this burden. While some level of taxation is necessary, it is both inappropriate and imprudent to pay more than your fair share.
Income tax is based on net profit or taxable income. The basic formula for calculating taxable income is revenue less expenses (tax deductions). Expenses can include both direct payments to third parties (labor, rent, supplies, etc.) and non-cash deduction. The primary non-cash deductions are depreciation and amortization. Tax reduction (tax cuts) are a direct result of increasing tax deductions.
The tax deduction benefit real estate owners gain from cost segregation is a higher level of depreciation. This non-cash tax deduction reduces taxable income and income taxes. For example, if the amount of depreciation increased by $100,000 (as result of a cost segregation study), taxable income would decrease by $100,000, and the owner experiences a $35,000 reduction in taxes (based on 35% tax rate).
Most real estate owners depreciate real estate based upon splitting the cost basis between land and improvements. The property owner or tax preparer typically estimates the portion for the land and attributes the balance to long-life improvements. Long-life improvements depreciate over 27.5 years for rental residential property and 39 years for commercial property
While this simplistic method is lawful, it cheats the real estate owner of tax deductions. A cost segregation study identifies up to 130 short-life components. (Cost segregation is different than component depreciation, which was available until the early 1908s. However, the result of both is to increase depreciation and tax deductions during the early years of ownership.) These short-life components typically comprise 20-50% of the improvement cost basis and are depreciated over 5 years (20.0% per year), 7 years (14.29% per year) and 15 years (6.67% per year).
Depreciation effectively changes the character of income from ordinary income to capital gains income. While the maximum income tax rate for ordinary income is 35%, the maximum rate for capital gains is 15% (less than half the ordinary income tax). This affects substantial income tax reduction.
Increasing depreciation also affects deferral of payment of income taxes. Instead of paying taxes (at the ordinary income tax rate) in the year income is earned, taxes are paid (at the capital gain rate) in the year the property is sold. Cost segregation effectively generates an interest free loan (until the property is sold) and reduces the tax rate (from 35% to 15%).
Cost segregation produces tax deductions and reduces federal income taxes across the country and in every size market. Below are just a few examples of where cost segregation generates meaningful tax deductions.
City:
- Miami, FL
- Bridgeport, CT
- Washington, DC
- San Francisco, CA

Forex, the foreign exchange market, is the global market that trades currency and is largely influenced by the products and portfolios of a person or businesses country. Large financial institutions, businesses, and some individuals, earn millions each day by making careful decisions on what currency to buy or sell.
The foreign exchange market is similar to the stock markets that exist in many countries but instead involves one global market making it the largest market in the world. Forex speculation is necessary because the rate of currency never stays the same. The value of the United States dollar changes each minute in response to the current and foreign events. The same is true for currencies world wide making the entire market move quickly and requiring quick decisions that can make millions.
Many new foreign exchange traders have been attracted by the opportunity to make large amounts of money in a relatively short amount of time. What many do not realize, or chose to overlook, is that there is always the chance that an investor will lose a great deal of money because of bad investments. To avoid making bad choices in the foreign exchange market a great deal of Forex speculation is necessary. This speculation is used to help determine which currencies should be bought and which must be sold.
In the foreign exchange market the major currencies are the United States dollar, the British Pound, the Euro, the Japanese Yen, and the Swiss Franc. These are only a few of the currencies being traded on the global market but they are the ones most often traded. In the Forex market you decide which currency you wish to sell based on its current value and potential to make money while buying currency that you believe will later make you money. Since foreign currency trading is done 24 hours a day with time changes world wide causing overlaps that will eventually affect foreign currencies leading to Forex speculation.
While the Internet and home computer access has made it possible for anyone to enter the world of foreign exchange trading Forex speculation is not something that should be attempted by just anyone. Even with the many classes, courses, and seminars available through the Internet and in real life learning the art of Forex speculation takes time, practice, and experience. Well known foreign exchange brokers have been known to make a mistake from time to time and inexperienced individuals can find themselves in financial ruin if they are not careful.
If you are interested in Forex trading and have no experience in the foreign exchange market it is in your best interest to find an experienced Forex broker to handle your trades. Finding a broker that is experienced in Forex speculation can help make your venture a success. Keep in mind, the foreign exchange market is not a guaranteed way to make money. Research your potential broker and begin with cautious investments. Investing a great deal of money into the fast paced world of foreign currency exchange could lead to a great loss if one is not careful.

It is hard to define good and bad, especially when they are terms slapped on to something as subjective as a brokerage service.
A broker serves a few primary functions in the trading cycle. The brokerage takes orders from sellers and buyers and matches them. The broker also provides the most recent prices and most brokers provide a charting service as well. These services are not provided for free, the broker takes a commission from you each time you trade. This charge is called the pip spread. What that works is that when you enter a trade, you are automatically in the red. This spread varies from broker to broker but on the whole as a market, pip spreads for trading the majors are very low as compared to trading exotic currencies.
A good broker can then be define as a broker who provides the basic services and keep the spreads low and fixed. The issue about floating spreads is that there are times when the spreads can go to atrocious levels and that means if you place your stop loss too low, there is a high possibility that you get kicked out of a trade through no fault of yours or because of any market movements. The good thing about having fixed spreads is that you can work the spreads into your trading plan. That gives you control of how you want to direct the trade.
The reason why having a good broker is essential to your profits is that; you want to have reliability and stability when you trade. The last thing you need is a brokerage that might go bust, or not pay you or worse take your money and run! I have had experience with brokers who refused to pay out my profits especially if they were large good runs and these brokers even made it such that it seemed that it was a technical error so they were not liable to pay! As you can imagine, I quickly closed my account and switched services. The crazy thing was that the broker refused to give me MY money! After a few phone calls and a couple of weeks later I finally managed to resolve that ugly spat and recovered my funds.
Reliability and stability are absolutely essential for traders to have especially when we are faced with an ever changing market. With market situations as such, the last thing you need is for your broker to pull a fast one on you. For example when you are in the midst of a trade and suddenly the trade window hangs. It might be a technical issue you think, so you log back on immediately. To your surprise you realize that your trade has been canceled and that the money you placed into the trade was lost! This is something that you don’t need, so you try to contact the broker, but you emails never get answered and your calls fall on deaf ears.
At this point in time the only thing you can do is to switch brokers. This will affect your trading and throw a wrench into your profits. Choose a good broker at the onset and you will fair better in the long run.

Christmas is responsible for more waste and consumption than any other holiday. North American’s trash contributions to the landfill increase by 25% during this time of year – which equates to a minimum of 25 million extra tons of garbage going to the landfill. By recognizing the incredible waste that is generated the urgency to do something becomes apparent.
A truly useful or environment friendly gift that provide some convenience or financial benefits is a better ecological choice. At the same time, you can help alleviate the guilt you might feel during this period of high consumption and travel activities. Here is a brief list of frugal and environmentally sound ideas to inspire you.
For the homeowner – A thermostat control that automatically turns the heat down at night; low flow showerhead attachment; draft cozy (placed in front of doors to prevent drafts) and tubes of caulking or weather stripping. Dimmer switches, compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL’s) or hot water tank and hot water pipe insulation kits are also excellent ideas. Yellow CFL’s are perfect for exterior lighting because they attract fewer insects. Consider making an eco-package combining some of these items for the homeowner.
For the gardener – A subscription to an organic gardening magazine or a membership to a seed organization is always an interesting gift idea. Bird, bat and butterfly houses, baths and feeders – or the patterns to build them – are a wonderful optional gift. Alternatively consider composting worm bin, gift certificate to a nursery or a membership with an environmental group.
Give Services – Rather than giving an item that must be wrapped, consider purchasing tickets to a performance, restaurant gift certificates or services such as lawn care, diaper, cleaning, music lessons, exercise or dance classes, tune-up or tire rotation services. Don’t forget to look at dog walking, babysitting, and massage, spas or gyms when looking at gift certificates. All of these ideas will help you support local businesses that you believe in while giving something that the recipient can truly benefit from.
Give Food – Home preserves such as dehydrated or canned foods make excellent gifts. Those that find cooking tasks cumbersome treasure frozen meals. Snack foods and deserts are appreciated by most anyone; keep in mind that purchasing Brazil or cashew nuts supports a tropical rainforests. Baskets of healthy foods are another wonderful idea to consider – especially if it contains samples from local producers.
Books – Most of us realize the benefits of literacy and supporting local businesses. You can do both by choosing to purchase books as gifts this year. However, we can also leave a legacy with a book of our own. This could be a journal, a collection of our poetry, a family tree that you’ve researched or even a family recipe book. Perhaps you might consider including quotes from family members or people you admire and possibly a few favorite family photos.
Alternative gifts – A reusable coffee filter and whole organic coffee beans makes a nice gift for coffee lovers. Consider slippers and sweaters – the recipient is less likely to turn up their thermostat. Toys and games with positive environmental or education values and those that emphasize cooperation, exploration or creative thinking. If you choose to purchase electronics, consider those powered by solar or rechargeable batteries.
The Tree: Give or purchase a living tree for yourself this year (it removes carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, ammonia, ozone and nitrogen oxides). A living Xmas tree can be donated to individuals with space on their land, the city, schools or parks when the season is over. Alternatively, plant it in your own yard for privacy, summer shade or soil and water erosion control.
The Photos – For holiday photo memories, avoid disposable cameras. Instead use a digital camera and load directly to your own computer and CD burner. Alternatively, use a normal camera using 36 exposure film rolls and have the pictures put on CD’s at the development outlet. Choosing these options reduces chemicals, paper and waste, while you save some cash.

Interacting with your online visitors is crucial in getting your point across and in ensuring their interest in the product or service that you are promoting. In order to be successful in the online world you simply must engage your audience. The best way to engage your visitors and ensure their interest is to use video to get your message across. Streaming video is the best method for interacting with your online audience and ultimately ensuring the success of your website.
Online video presentations are by far the most effective methods for getting information across to your visitors. No matter what product or service you happen to be promotion, you can ensure that your visitors retain this information much better when they are learning through video. In general, people absorb much more information when it is presented in an interesting form. You also have the opportunity to present more information when you use video than you do with simple text or photos and your visitors feel a more personal connection to you and your product or service. You can use videos to showcase testimonials from real people to gain your visitors’ trust and get their interest level even higher. Using video develops a much higher level of trust for the product or service that you are promoting and thus increases your chances of making a sale.
When you use video on your website you have the ability to capture the attention of every visitor who happens onto your site. Instead of boring text and outdated pictures, you can add an interesting and attention grabbing video presentation that will give your customers or clients all the information that you are trying to convey and in a much easier method. Imagine speaking for just a moment. If you were to be assigned the task of informing someone of how to wash a dish and you could only do so via text, wouldn’t you find that just a tad difficult? Now, imagine having the ability to instruct that same person on how to wash a dish but this time you are permitted to use audio and video in your demonstration. Do you see the impact that the second scenario could make on your website?
Providing information for people is just like everything else. You need to choose the most effective way in which to get your message across. If you simply rely on written words you have no idea how your visitors are going to take your message. The written word contains no emotion. If three different people all saw the same text, chances are that they would all three read it differently. On the other hand, when you use a video presentation to convey your message to online visitors you can determine exactly how your message will come across. The spoken word contains emotion and you have much higher chance of encouraging your visitors to purchase your product or believe what you are saying when they actually hear the words as opposed to simply reading them. In the old days of interacting with potential customers you would have had to establish a traditional store.
Then we moved on to brochures, flyers and other methods of text and image presentation. Today’s marketing includes video. Video is a much more effective marketing tool than you may realize. If you truly want to increase website conversion, sales or just ensure the overall success of your website then you really do need to implement video. This is truly the best way to interact with online visitors. Like the old ad once said “It’s the next best thing to being there”.

Each investor gets in the stock market with the same main goal- to add to their own wealth. For generations, the stock market has shown to be a winning strategy to establish personal riches for investors around the globe. Although a lot of investors are fortunate in their quests, there are as well numerous others who lose money attributable to several basic investment errors. The five most common investment errors are the lack of portfolio diversification, ineffective market timing, lack of reinvestment, emotional investing and overpaying for investments and investment advice.
1. Lack of Diversification
Diversification is among the fundaments to a flourishing investment portfolio, yet so many investors neglect to properly address this step. Whenever an investor decides to invest into a particular industry sector or into a particular company without diversifying across other investments, they’re essentially putting all of their eggs into one basket. This move can significantly add to the investor’s portfolio risk and the possibility for loss of capital. A properly diversified portfolio will adhere to all components of an asset allocation, considering risk tolerance, investment capital available, investment time frame and the current portfolio’s investment class weightings.
2. Market Timing
Some investors get wind of success stories from investors and traders who win big time by timing the markets. Although market timing can turn out to be successful for a lot of investors, many investors make the mistake of investing into a stock while its price is climbing instead of at the ground level. Another market timing error is selling an investment when the investor thinks that the stock is about to come down, potentially causing the investor to lose capital growth opportunities if the stock does not in fact drop-off as anticipated. Though market timing is a winning strategy for many investors, it can be a risky investment strategy and is not suggested for most investors.
3. Lack of Reinvestment
Whenever an investor is to sell off their investments, a big mistake that can be made is to not reinvest the money into a different investment, therefore holding the proceeds in cash. In many cases, it is advisable to reinvest the proceeds into another stock that meets the investor’s own objectives. Another reinvestment error occurs when investors fail to take advantage of the opportunity that a lot of investments offer the ability to reinvest dividends. This is an good strategy for wealth building and should be considered by nearly all investors.
4. Emotional Decisions
Most investors make their trading decisions on an emotional basis rather than on a logical basis. For instance, emotional investors will sell off an investment as it is dropping in price, therefore taking a loss instead of waiting for the market to re-correct. Although the overall investment goal is to buy when low and sell when high, a lot of investors execute the exact opposite strategy based on their emotional reactions.
5. Overpaying for Investment Fees
The price that is paid for investments can have a huge impact on an investor’s total investment return. Consider investment trading fees, investment transaction fees and up front prices for investment advice in order to ensure that your net investment returns are as healthy as possible.
