How to Interact Better With Online Visitors Using Video

Monday, November 17th, 2008

Interacting with your online visitors is crucial in getting your point across and in ensuring their interest in the product or service that you are promoting. In order to be successful in the online world you simply must engage your audience. The best way to engage your visitors and ensure their interest is to use video to get your message across. Streaming video is the best method for interacting with your online audience and ultimately ensuring the success of your website.

Online video presentations are by far the most effective methods for getting information across to your visitors. No matter what product or service you happen to be promotion, you can ensure that your visitors retain this information much better when they are learning through video. In general, people absorb much more information when it is presented in an interesting form. You also have the opportunity to present more information when you use video than you do with simple text or photos and your visitors feel a more personal connection to you and your product or service. You can use videos to showcase testimonials from real people to gain your visitors’ trust and get their interest level even higher. Using video develops a much higher level of trust for the product or service that you are promoting and thus increases your chances of making a sale.

When you use video on your website you have the ability to capture the attention of every visitor who happens onto your site. Instead of boring text and outdated pictures, you can add an interesting and attention grabbing video presentation that will give your customers or clients all the information that you are trying to convey and in a much easier method. Imagine speaking for just a moment. If you were to be assigned the task of informing someone of how to wash a dish and you could only do so via text, wouldn’t you find that just a tad difficult? Now, imagine having the ability to instruct that same person on how to wash a dish but this time you are permitted to use audio and video in your demonstration. Do you see the impact that the second scenario could make on your website?

Providing information for people is just like everything else. You need to choose the most effective way in which to get your message across. If you simply rely on written words you have no idea how your visitors are going to take your message. The written word contains no emotion. If three different people all saw the same text, chances are that they would all three read it differently. On the other hand, when you use a video presentation to convey your message to online visitors you can determine exactly how your message will come across. The spoken word contains emotion and you have much higher chance of encouraging your visitors to purchase your product or believe what you are saying when they actually hear the words as opposed to simply reading them. In the old days of interacting with potential customers you would have had to establish a traditional store.

Then we moved on to brochures, flyers and other methods of text and image presentation. Today’s marketing includes video. Video is a much more effective marketing tool than you may realize. If you truly want to increase website conversion, sales or just ensure the overall success of your website then you really do need to implement video. This is truly the best way to interact with online visitors. Like the old ad once said “It’s the next best thing to being there”.

Global Warming – Is The Bush II Government Pursuing A Policy Of Genocide By Proxy

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

The legendary Indian spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) once said: “The earth has enough for the needs of all but not the greed of a few.” His words have since proved to be quite prophetic!

The world today is in chaos and by that I’m not merely referring to the tumult taking place in the Middle East; what I’m talking about is the imminent extinction of hundreds of millions of people as a result of global warming. In both scenarios the United States plays a central role!

I have already pretty much detailed out how and why global warming is happening and which nations are most responsible for its acceleration, as well as who’s doing what and who is not to rectify the situation in my article entitled: Global Warming–How It Could Spark World War III.

That said, I’ve included a list of figures below to illustrate to what extent each nation/region is responsible for greenhouse gas pollution in the atmosphere (greenhouse gases are widely held to be the engine behind the accelerated global warming seen today):

USA: 30.3%

Europe: 27.7%

Russia: 13.7%

South East Asia: 12.2%

South/Central America: 3.8%

Japan: 3.7%

Middle East: 2.6%

Africa: 2.5%

Australia: 1.1%

The Truth Behind The Lie

To many in marketing circles the concept of manipulation of social evidence is nothing new. Basically what it entails is manipulating tools of evidence to further one’s goals.

Thus for example, until fairly recently in internet marketing circles, the practice of manufacturing bogus testimonials was fairly widespread. The objective being to convince visitors to one’s website to purchase products on the strength of those manufactured testimonials.

In the arena of global warming much the same has been happening. In the same manner that a defense counsel in a court case will produce its own expert witness to discredit that of the prosecution (or vice versa) so has the Bush II administration paraded a string of bogus experts to decry global warming as just a myth!

In 2007 a good number of environmental scientists and climatologists publicly stated that they’d been pressurized by various Bush II factions to manipulate data to downplay the seriousness of global warming!

Which simply begs the question: why is the Bush II administration going to such lengths to hide the truth about global warming?

Snatch ‘n’ Grab Operation Gone Awry

It is now widely accepted that the invasion of Iraq had little to do with terrorism, less to do with democracy but everything to do with oil! The question still remains however, why did the US go to such lengths (which included manufacturing evidence) to illegally invade a sovereign state under what at best can be described as a thinly disguised pretext for war?

Was it merely a question of the then single remaining superpower claiming its right to wield that might as it saw fit irrespective of international law, just as Nazi Germany once did?

Or was it a case of a few vain men hoping to claim their slice of immortality through a legacy festooned with the glory of having secured new oil reserves for a nation with a quenchless thirst for the stuff?

Or perhaps the U.S. oil reserves were so desperately low that Bush II and his New World Order buddies were prepared to force a snatch and grab operation that could easily have escalated into third world war, so as to shore up those dwindled oil reserves?

Or maybe, just maybe, the U.S. desperately needed to stockpile a vast amount of oil for something far, far more sinister.

To keep at bay a monster it helped so much to create!

Threads Weaving A Disturbing Tapestry Of Events

These days more often than not fact is stranger than fiction. When we look at the Bush II Administration’s policy on global warming it is beyond perplexing why they have gone to such lengths to deny its existence.

For sure, his Have-More buddies in oil and other environmental-damaging industries have plenty to gain by muddying the waters, but what if there’s really more to this repudiation of global warming than that!

What if this is a carefully concocted plot that has been kept under wraps for years?

Here’s what we know thus far about global warming. The data has been around for well over a decade and has been readily available to government officials. Since the turn of the 21st century scientists across the globe have been warning of the extent of global warming; warnings that apparently fell on deaf ears! (Well at least as far as the Bush II administration was concerned.)

But supposing this was not actually the case.

What if the Bush II administration did listen, but only to those scientists who’d concluded that the world had reached the point of no return? And that global warming could not be reversed anytime in the foreseeable future and thus by proxy neither could its ensuing effects!

Fuelling Up For A Global Catastrophe

In other words there was no point implementing measures to curb greenhouse gas emissions (thereby slowing down global warming) and that in fact the best policy was to forge powerfully ahead and ensure that America was readied for the ensuing catastrophe no matter the cost!

If it meant manufacturing a war, so be it! If it meant causing the deaths of hundreds of millions of people to achieve that aim, so be it! After all this wouldn’t be the first time in history that the few had been sacrificed for the many! Oh! Except in this case it is the many sacrificing for the few, or more specifically, The Have-Mores!

When looked at from this perspective, that the U.S. is fuelling up for a long term global catastrophe, it all begins to make some sense! Especially considering that Saudi Arabia still has the greatest oil reserves in the world and has never said no to U.S. oil demands!

Bottom line, it is quite conceivable that the U.S. under Bush II has been insuring against (or at least trying to) a global catastrophe predominantly of its own making! But alas even the best laid plans go badly awry. Iraq didn’t turn out to be the pushover they’d expected and the oil is not gushing the way they had envisioned.

Think that such a scenario is way over the top? Think again! Remember Iraq? Remember Hurricane Katrina?

The way the Bush II government handled Katrina was so shameful that Google for some reason best known to it was compelled to replace post-Hurricane Katrina satellite imagery with pre-hurricane images on its map portal (Damage control? Trying to hide America’s shame from the rest of the world? At whose behest one wonders?).

As you can well imagine, when it came to light, the whole sordid affair was an extreme embarrassment to Google (And certainly not good for business! The search engine business thrives on the premise that results are accurate and impartial and not manipulated!).

But the point I wish to emphasize here is that if the Bush II government could shun its very own citizens (albeit mainly citizens of color) in such a cavalier fashion why would they give a damn if their actions resulted in the deaths of hundreds of millions of Africans or peoples from other parts of the globe who are going to be worst hit by global warming?

In World War II the Nazi’s genocide weapon-of-choice was hydrogen cyanide gas, what irony that in the upcoming global warming related genocide, gas too is the weapon of choice; carbon dioxide gas!

EBook Marketing – Clickbank Pitch Pages

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

So you’ve been to Clickbank and browsed around. You’ve seen the pitch or sales pages for a number of products. In this article we will take a little more in depth analysis of what goes into creating a powerful pitch page for a Clickbank sales page and give you some tips on how to create one yourself.

The first thing you notice is that every pitch page for a Clickbank product is one single page. There are no sites with links to other pages featuring other products by the publisher. The reason for this is simple. To understand that reason one must realize that there are two ways a visitor might make it to a Clickbank sales page. First, they may have done a search for a product on-line and found the site in the organic listings on YaHoo!, MSN, Google or some other search engine. Let’s call these people “fresh visitors.”

There are also visitors coming to Clickbank sales pages who clicked on a link from an affiliate for that product and that click resulted in them being taken to the Clickbank site. In such a case the visitor clicked on what is called a “hoplink” to the sales page. The affiliate created that hoplink which Clickbank will monitor and place a cookie on the visitor’s computer when they reach the pitch page. If the visitor ends up buying the product on that page, Clickbank will read the cookie and award the affiliate his or her commission for referring the customer to the sales page in question.

If a publisher were to sell more than one product from their Clickbank site, it would interfere with Clickbank’s tracking and make it nearly impossible for Clickbank to award commissions to affiliates properly. THis is why all Clickbank sales pages are only one page long and never promote more than one product.

Now, what about the content of the page? Most Clickbank pitch pages start with either an attention getting header graphic, or a big bold heading in 18 or 24 point text. Often Tahoma or Impact fonts are used, but sometimes something like Times or Times Roman are used. The headline needs to grab the reader’s attention. You only have a few seconds to pull the visitor in to want more information.

Some Clickbank publishers will tell exactly what their product is all about in the headline, others will create a sub-header to do that task–but however it’s done, the reader must become locked into the site within the first 10 seconds.

About one-third of the way through the pitch page most of the power seller’s pitch page will begin with a, “From The Desk Of…” message to the reader. The purpose of this is to establish a relationship with the reader. This part of the page is more personal–they try to make it sound as if they were right across the table talking to you. This is important, the seller must infer some degree of trust to the reader before they can ask for credit card information.

Virtually every Clickbank ebook seller will also have an opt-in form on their pitch page as well. Some use static, in-line forms–but most use a pop-up or “hover-over” type form. Collecting name and email info is a top priority because the publishers will work their lists aggressively to harvest more sales.

And one more key feature: The vast majority of power sellers will have some kind of exit-capture strategy for visitors clicking to leave their site without ordering. The two most common exit-capture systems are provided by IntelliChat and VirtualSmartAgent. You’ve see this used. You go to click to leave the site and a pop-up appears with a chat box and a virtual sales agent. The agent will offer you a $10 or $20 discount you order through them. These companies collect a commission on every sale they capture through this technology. Before you purchase any Clickbank product, I would recommend closing the pitch page to see if you are offered a discount rather than ordering directly. You can often save a few bucks.

My last ket point involves the testimonials. Here’s a little secret: A great number of testimonials on Clickbank pitch pages come from affiliates who are promoting the product on which their testimonial appears. I’m not suggesting this is wrong, but you should know that many of these are not testimonials from the average “Joe on the street.” There are a handful of affiliates who have their testimonials appear on dozens and dozens of Clickbank sales pages.

This is partially because they are affiliates for these products, and also because the big guys always include the URL for the web site of the person giving the testimonial. This is sort of a “pay-back” for the comment as some visitors will then click on the affiliate’s web site.

Search Engine Optimization services vary from company to company. It differs with the Google styles of work in various countries. It Google essential that any website that is built is to be known by all the people throughout for whichever attribute it wanted it to spread. There will be target groups for people who build websites. To reach the target audience, the publicity is important. As website owners, people will and should understand the importance of Search Engine Optimization and its vitality. This is like a visiting card made available online. With SEO services from the right company, the publicity is no longer a bizarre word.

Before hiring a SEO company, the website owner is supposed to have the following points in mind in order to select a good one.

Find the best SEO online

Because those who claim to offer the best SEO services should rank first in the major search engines. They would give the best to them and that will show how skilled hey are in the art of SEO

There is always a difference when people tell that the company does SEO services and when they claim that it is a SEO Company offering services. There will be a web designing, web building company where a professional of web designing will be doing SEO for you. That will not help. As website owners, opt for SEO companies that are well established for Search Engine Optimization exclusively, where a SEO professional works for the betterment of the site. SEO is a novel concept and that means the checklist for the establishment of these SEO companies will be 5 years. If a company has a good experience for 5 years as “SEO Company”, then it is a wise choice.

Testimonials and References

Check for the testimonials from the other clients of the company. If you have a doubt as many of us do, that they could manipulate the testimonials, and then you must ask for references. Even if you opt not to call the references, your query for the references will sow how confident the companies are. These will help the website owners to make good choices. The companies that hesitate to give references are not sure and confident, whereas the companies that readily give are the confident ones.

Committed Company

There will be SEO professionals who escape work by mere suggestions. Trust our words; it is the important concept to be noticed. Choose those who work for you and not just stop with suggesting the changes.

Guarantee with Reports

The realistic goals that can be measured and specific can be easily found out. That gives the assurance of the companies when they give guarantees. And important thing is to ask for the monthly report of the company. They are mirrors of the work.

Thus choosing best SEO firms will not be a difficult one for many of the website owners if they follow all this with full heart.

Hybrid Water Car Reviews

Friday, June 6th, 2008

If you are like me, this is becoming an all too-frequent decision. Things can get very stressful when you have to choose between money for gas and paying a bill. Hundreds of dollars a month extra just for gas is enough to throw off even the best-managed budget. My sister and her husband, for example, own a SUV and Ford truck, and must travel at least 30 miles or more one-way to get to work. Measuring the usage between the two of them, they have seen their monthly gas bill TRIPLE, and I think that is just a sample of what everyone is feeling right now in this economy. I am a bit luckier in that respect, as I have a smaller 4-door vehicle, but I am still paying more than I like at the pump, and I see it impacting my budget too. So, I decided to start doing a bit of research on some alternative ways to save money so I can relieve a bit of my own financial stress. How great would it be if I could eliminate at least this one budget item each month? That would be fantastic!

I came upon a process to convert almost any make and model of vehicle to run on water instead of gas. The site claims to be able to convert 99.9% of vehicles on the market. It also claimed to make the conversion kits available for under $150.00! Well, that is definitely less than I was expecting to pay. All of this sure seemed to be the answer I was looking for, but I am a hard sell, so I wanted to do a deeper dive on it. If nothing else, I was becoming a LOT more informed on the subject. I cross-referenced some of the information with other sites claiming to have the same product, just to get a better understanding of what is involved. Especially since I am not what you would call “mechanically-inclined”. So, going into this I initially wanted to know if it was something I could do myself, as a total newbie, or if I would need help, a LOT of help. Here’s what I found.

PROS:

The step-by-step manual had full illustrations, not just instructions, which was helpful, and because I am not a mechanic, I was glad to know they had customer service available to help too if I had any questions going through the installation process. This company also has a 50+ day money-back guarantee, which I really liked. Afterall, I am trying to save money here, not waste it. As well, there were many reliable testimonials backing up their success, which made me feel even better about buying the product.

CONS:

This product is not for everyone. I believe this conversion process does not work or has not been tested yet on existing hybrid models. Also, the conversion time will vary. The manual is 90 pages long, though the illustrations do figure into that. Have your mechanic’s number handy, just in case you need a consult.

CONCLUSION:

I would highly recommend that anyone experiencing a severe pinch from high gas mileage prices go and check out this product, especially since it is 100% reversible, which means it will not affect your warranty stipulations, AND you can get your money back if it does not work out for you. This could be the one thing that revolutionizes the auto industry.

The Benefits of Soy – Truth and Consequences

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

The benefits of Soy, we have been told are monumental. All soy products have been FDA approved for years, and I for one have been using soymilk off and on for years. When the latest bone density test revealed no significant increase in bone mass, I did some research on my own.

To my surprise I discovered some studies that claim soy does not lower cholesterol levels, preserve/increase bone mass, decrease menopause systems, or ward off kidney disease.

And the claims that soy carotenoids, namely lycopene, lutein, zeaxantin, and alpha- and beta-carotene lower the risk of cancer, protect against macular degeneration and cataracts, and prevent heart disease respectively? You guessed it. According to some scientists, these claims are all false.

In order to make it attractive to the North American consumer, soy is marketed in a variety of tasty, easy to use products. These include: tofu, soy milk, soy cheese, soy nuts, soy yogurt and soy burgers. Every year more goodies are added, like soy energy bars, pasta, powder for smoothies, dips and soups, soy pizza, soy crackers, soy chips, soy hot dogs, as well as tempeh, miso, tamari soy sauce, edamame (whole soybeans).

Apparently, contrary to popular belief, the Chinese diet over the centuries never included unfermented soybeans. They use the fermented variety, and then only in condiments rather than as whole foods.

Soy products, as we know them, are produced and marketed in the West. Instead of employing the natural fermentation process, the soy flour is defatted and then forced through an extruder in very high heat and pressure. This is done to soften the texture of the natural soybean and make it more palatable. The resulting soy protein isolate (SPI) is then mixed with a caustic alkaline solution in order to remove the fiber and subsequently washed in an acid solution, which removes the protein!

The North American soy products are highly refined and laden with sugar/sugar substitutes, salt, artificial flavorings, colors, and monosodium glutamate (MSG). Although the resulting “health food” tastes, feels and looks better, it’s far from healthy.

Unfermented soy products, rather than improve health, can rob the body of important minerals and depress the thyroid gland. Naturally fermented soy products, on the other hand, like tofu, miso, and tempeh are far more nutritional. But even these, some researchers say, should be combined with mineral-rich sea vegetables such as kombu and nori (which I personally am not familiar with) and animal protein, preferably fish.

Soy Scientists, after years of researching soy protein in animal feeds, discovered a high content of antinutrients, or phytates, and digestive enzyme inhibitors.

Soy contains phytoestrogens or isoflavones, which can adversely affect young boys and predispose girls to breast cancer, early puberty and infertility. This phytic acid in soy cannot be neutralized by ordinary preparation methods such as soaking, sprouting and long, slow cooking.

Children and postmenopausal women are especially vulnerable to these toxins. A build-up of these poisons have caused fatal attacks in children who had no adverse reaction to them right up to the moment of death. Poor growth, digestive disorders attention-deficit disorders, dyslexia, and other learning problems in children have been linked to soy in their food and/or their mothers’ diet during pregnancy.

Due to its phytoestrogen content, soy was long assumed to be a good estrogen replacement therapy and osteoporosis inhibitor for postmenopausal women. This was disproved in1997 by Divi, Chang and Doerge, scientists at the National Center for Toxicological Research. They found that these phyto acids actually hinder the absorption of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc, and suppress thyroid.functions. The Vitamin B12 content in soy is not only indigestible, but it in fact increases the body’s need for B12!

I don’t know about you, but I got my eyes wide open after discovering all this bad news. O.K. maybe there needs to be more research done, and possibly there are some benefits for those who are between childhood and middle age. It’s important to be up-to-date on the latest research on nutrition, especially the way everything is mass produced these days and made to taste good at the expense of being good for you.

As is the case with salt being present in most foods we eat, over 60% of all products on your grocery shelf already are laced with soy!
